Now you can get a Shortbus skimboard in Florida. Thanks to Corey and Jason @ Alley Oop down in Fort Lauderdale for giving us their time to stop in and show them our boards. Neil and I got to go hang with the team and talk a little about what, where and how Shortbus should approach 2012 season. So it looks like we have some work to do. Well the winds are the right direction NW @ 5 to 10, but the skim is small. There are a couple that are sneaking in.
The last two pics are of a wave that broke about 15 yards out, looks to be just outta reach.  The tides are a high around 8:00 with the low around 2:00. Shortbus is heading south for awhile to show Alley Oop Skim shop some boards. So the report will be on hold for about ten days. See you soon

The skim is really small not much to report. the winds are 10 to 15 out of the NE. the swell is  unorganized and choppy.
High tide is at 7:00 with the Low around 12:30. 

Well it hard to believe but the skim looks fun with and onshore wind ,but there are a few good ones coming in.
It's knee high with bigger ones on sets. The north side of the first jetty has been holding a nice little peak for a while now. The wind is out of  NNE @ 5 to 10. With the high tide around 7:00 and the low around 1:00.

The skim is small but still looks fun. Thigh high liners and some waist high peaks coming in. the tide is dropping out with the low tide around noon. the wind is lite out of the SW @ 5 mph. Neil, go get you some, work is cancel for two hours.

The swell has really dropped out, so the skim is knee high at the biggest. But like yesterday there are still some fun one out there. The winds are lite out of the WSW at 5 mph. The high tide today is around 5:30 with the low around 12:00. But the forecast calls for around 60 degrees outside, so it would be worth the exercise.

The swell today is out of the ESE and it is at mid tide. High tide was around 5:00 am with a low tide around 11:00. There are a few coming through but again today there is a wait. Still around waist high. The winds are lite out of the WSW at about 5 to 10. Yesterday the skim got a little better with the higher tide. Water warmed up a few degrees but is still frigid.

First, I'd like to say sorry for the rushed shots this morning. It is 26 degrees out there so I didn't stay around to wait on a set. The skim is small and not much to it. Super soft with no shape. The winds are WNW at 5 to 10 mph. Low tide is around 10:00 today with High around 4:00.

It's cold out there today. The wind is out of the NNW at about 15 to 25. The skim is knee high at the biggest and looks like it will be a struggle to get to. Low tide is around 9:00 with the high tide around 3:00.
